Rumors of a potential move of striker Mohamed Salah to another club are not troubling Liverpool.
The Reds leadership is calm about the 28-year-old forward’s future, according to The Athletic, but are in no rush to initiate negotiations with him about a new deal given the fact that the coronavirus pandemic has seen the club’s revenues drop dramatically.
In the summer of 2023, Salah’s existing contract with Liverpool expires.
The club thinks that during the summer transfer window, the Egyptian will not push for a transfer and does not want to sell him.
It is difficult to imagine any of them being able to arrange a transaction of this nature, considering the financial problems faced by Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Salah has scored 13 goals and three assists this season in 18 games for Liverpool in the EPL.
