Milan Technical Director Paolo Maldini says the ‘results are more available’ in Serie A and acknowledged that the ‘tension’ from the San Siro fans is missing.

The Diavolo sits at the top of Series A after seven unbeaten matches in the League, but the director admitted that the season has been weird so far.

“The findings are more clear this year, even with completely different numbers,” Maldini told Radio 105.

“There is something decided by the absence of the public. Thanks to the absence, some say we are where we are, but I’m sure we would have been given more strength. It’s also a bad thing not to have an audience. There are feelings related to fans. Like the 90,000 in Barcelona or the 80,000 in San Siro, for instance. I miss the tension that above all the public gives you.”
