At Segunda B side Yeclano, Valencia scored four goals as they progressed through to the Copa del Rey’s next round.

The hosts have yet to win a league match in the season and sit at the bottom of their 10-team group in the regionalized third tier of Spain, so Los Che has always been clear favorites for the game, which on Thursday was the biggest Spanish football match.

There were some remaining nerves, however, with just one victory in their last 13 league games, but those were blasted away by Kang-In Lee, Uros Racic, and Ruben Sobrino’s three first-half goals.

In the first minute of the second half, Alberto Oca pulled a goal back for Yeclano, but Thierry Correia netted four seven minutes later to end the match as a draw.

Elsewhere, after a scoreless draw, Cadiz scored penalties to beat third-tier Pontevedra through Pena Dep. After a stalemate, Santa Eulalia also needed a penalty shootout to evict Sabadell.

With a 2-1 win with Sporting Gijon-another second-tier side-defeating SD Amorebieta, Girona ousted fellow Segunda outfit Lugo in extra time.

In the evening matches, La Liga sides Huesca and Eibar fly to Alcoyano and Las Rosas respectively.
