Celta Vigo secured its biggest win since June when it defeated Cadiz 4-0 on Monday in the Spanish league.
Cadiz was coming off beating Barcelona at home 2-1, but started poorly and was down 4-0 by halftime.
Nolito’s third goal in four games, after just six minutes, put Celta on the board.
Moments later, Alvaro Negredo headed off from the right post, but Iago Aspas doubled the lead from the penalty spot.
Jeremias Ledesma fouled Santi Mina and left the field shortly after.
When Fran Beltran shot the third goal just before halftime, Aspas got a second assist, and there was still enough time for Brais Mendez’s first goal of the season with a header in injury time.
The second half was chaotic, but Celta’s third straight victory over Cadiz had already been won.
