Massimiliano Allegri has a pre-contract agreement with Roma

Football News

There are rumors that, while it should be predicted, Massimiliano Allegri has a pre-contract agreement with Roma to take over from Paulo Fonseca next season.

According to Radio Radio and Calciomercato., the former Juventus coach has ‘already signed’ a pre-contract worth two years with an alternative for a third.

The salary would be slightly higher than that of Fonseca, but lower than the salary he commanded at Juventus, which would eventually exceed approximately EUR 4.5m per season.

These sources state that there is a clause making the contract binding only if Roma qualify for the Champions League.

If the situation with Fonseca starts to deteriorate, then Allegri could be called in sooner than that.
