The productive attacker scored the fifth La Liga goal of his season in Barca’s 2-0 victory over Leganes Tuesday night as Quique Setien ‘s side stretched out their lead to five points at the top.

The new Camp Nou contract with Fati is set to lapse in the summer of 2022, however the Catalan giants have the choice of expanding the contract for two additional years.

Manchester United made a push to distance itself from wild trade speculation under two months ago. Seven weeks after Woodward ‘s remark, and United was firmly connected to Barcelona’s forward Ansu Fati, with reports that he could before long become one of the most costly player transfers ever.

Aged only 17, Fati is an energizing talent, point of fact. At the start of this season, he broke into the Barca team and became the most youthful goalscorer in history at the club. He has already played for the club 25 times and Lionel Messi has portrayed him as an “amazing player.”
