Manchester United and Chelsea are set to compete for West Ham star Declan Rice’s signature. In the close season, Rice, 22, is being touted for a move, with Chelsea reportedly having led the chase for the signature of the midfielder. But United may be able to fight for an international in England.

According to ESPN, Manchester United are ready to challenge Chelsea to sign Rice before 2021-22. The report says that at the end of the season, United are eyeing a striker, center-back, and defensive midfielder as targets.

Rice is contracted to West Ham, where he arrived from Chelsea in 2014 as a youth player, until 2024.
