Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski was hospitalized at a training camp with the Polish national team. The forward strained his knee ligaments when scoring a goal against Andorra in a 2022 World Cup qualifier.
According to Bayern’s news service, Lewandowski will be out for four weeks as a result of his injury. As a result of his injury, the 32-year-old forward will be unable to play against PSG in the Champions League quarter-finals. The first leg is scheduled for April 7, followed by the return leg on April 13.
Lewandowski would also miss the 27th round of the Bundesliga versus RB Leipzig.
The team is still second in the league rankings, four points behind Bayern Munich.
This season, the forward has 35 goals and six assists in 25 Bundesliga games.
