James Justin is set for surgery on an ACL injury, removing Leicester City from one of their best offensive outlets.
With the full-back news that James Justin will require surgery on an anterior cruciate ligament injury, the Champions League hopes of Leicester City suffered a big blow.
Justin injured his knee in Leicester’s FA Cup win over Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday and was taken off on a stretcher.
“Sadly the scan hasn’t shown up so well, which is a massive blow for us,” Rodgers said, according to the official website.
“He looks like he got his ACL done, which is a terrible blow to us because since he joined the team last year, he’s been amazing. He’s played in many positions. Wherever I’ve asked him to play, whatever position, he’s been a minimum eight out of 10 and developing as a top Premier League player.”
