Presidential applicant Joan Laporta of Barcelona has reported his aim to meet with previous president Pep Guardiola of La Blaugrana in Camp Nou. Guardiola delighted in a four-year trophy somewhere in the range of 2008 and 2012 with the Catalan monsters, as the Spaniard won three titles in La Liga and two in the Barca Champions League.

Laporta, who filled in as leader of Barcelona from 2003 to 2010 and was in the rudder when Guardiola was raised from the young group to senior group chief in 2008, pronounced his office to succeed Josep Bartomeu, who is venturing out of the situation the following summer.

Without a doubt, with Spain’s future still unsure, Laporta has affirmed that he fantasies about rejoining with the previous head of Barca in Catalonia. “I would especially like Guardiola to return, however now he’s at City and it’s a choice that Pep should take,” Laporta said incites credited to the Daily Mail.

“He’s a model for Barcelona and numerous Catalans might want him to prepare Barca once more.”

Guardiola, before leaving for Bayern Munich, won 179 of his 247 matches accountable for La Blaugrana.

Guardiola’s present agreement is expected to lapse in June 2021 at Manchester City.

City’s two-year European prohibition on disregarding UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules – which they bid for – left some doubting Guardiola’s future as a director, yet the City manager stayed testing to remain in England until the finish of next season in any event.

In the wake of being designated at Barcelona by Laporta and winning three alliance titles in succession and lifting the Champions League trophy in both 2009 and 2011, Guardiola appreciated unmatched achievement.
