La Liga to sue pitch invader at a match between Real Mallorca and Barcelona

To win an image with Lionel Messi, La Liga said it is thinking about legal action against the man who surged on to the pitch during Real Mallorca ‘s back-closed-entryway match against Barcelona on Saturday.

After being shot out by security powers and police, the fan, a French occupant of Mallorca, addressed Spanish radio station, Cadena Cope, unveiling he had scaled a two-meter fence to enter the stadium.

“Because I realized the match was happening, I had arranged this, I wanted an image with Messi and to meet him because he is my legend,” he said.

Mallorca said that they checked how the fan got into the stadium.
