Coach Ronald Koeman of FC Barcelona says he will award his team a ranking of ten out of ten, and maintains that their morale has risen.

Since the turn of the year, the Catalan outfit has been remarkable, with the club managing to win 10 of the 11 games they’ve played so far this year. They sit third in the La Liga table, eight points behind Atletico Madrid, the leader of the League, who has a game in hand, and three points behind Real Madrid, the second-placed Real Madrid, who played another game.

After a spectacular comeback to defeat Granada 5-3 in the quarter-finals, Barcelona also advanced to the semi-finals of the Copa Del Rey. In their next match in the series, they face Sevilla. Koeman spoke highly of his side, speaking ahead of Barca’s semi-final first leg clash against Rojiblancos.

“It seems like we survived on many occasions. We must highlight the mentality of the team and the character of the players,” Koeman told the press, as per Marca.

“We have a quality team, but we lack [personnel in certain] positions, competition. With the injuries we have and the congested fixture list, I would rate this team ten [out of ten]. The team’s confidence has risen, we are concentrating better than before. We have gained pride from coming from behind.”
