Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman claims superstar forward Lionel Messi is happy with his latest record-breaking endeavors. After the six-time Ballon d’Or winner’s more record-breaking performance, Ronald Koeman says that Lionel Messi is happy in Barcelona.

In a 3-0 LaLiga win over Real Valladolid on Tuesday, Messi scored the third goal, the 644th strike of the superstar captain for Barca, as he surpassed Pele for the record number of goals for a single player.

‘I said it a lot,’ said Barca head coach Koeman.

“Here, I see Leo smiling. Given his imagination, he is very interesting to us. You can see that when there are good players alongside him.”
