Jurgen Klopp does not seem to have taken Liverpool’s loss especially well at Southampton. He responded by, oddly, deflecting towards the favorable penalty record of Manchester United.

A single goal away at St. Mary’s, a first-half finish from former striker Danny Ings, defeated the Premier League champions, eventually condemning them to defeat and making it three games without a Premier League victory.
You can understand that in the aftermath of the game, Jurgen Klopp was not doing his normal air-pumps towards the stands, but the way he wanted to deflect from the lackluster Liverpool display and instead bring up the penalty record of Man United is just too slightly bizarre.
With Liverpool seeing two separate penalty calls waved away by referee Andre Marriner and VAR, here’s what Klopp had to say after the game. He’s not a happy guy, and he feels as if tonight his side deserved better from the officials.
