Joshua Kimmich, a Bayern Munich midfielder, has shared his memories of joining the club from RB Leipzig in 2015.

Kimmich said to ESPN: “I said to myself. They can sign any midfielder in the world.’ “What are they looking for in me? This was the first conversation I had with Guardiola. I inquired as to why they want to sign me and what they see in me. On the tactical board, he showed me all. It was incredible. He was demonstrating which roles I could fill, and I had no idea I could participate in any of them. ‘Wow, okay,’ I said to myself. I’ve only been working with him for a little over an hour, but he’s already taught me a lot. It’s been a fantastic start.”

This season, the German has appeared in 17 Bundesliga games, scoring two goals and assisting on ten occasions.
