Jose Mourinho acknowledges that Steven Bergwijn was not his first decision choice in the January window after joining Tottenham however is happy with the winger ‘s performance.

The Netherlands international opened the scoring in Friday’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United to make it three goals in eight games for the London side. Bergwijn added an extra measurement to the attack on Spurs, and Mourinho is happy that the club proceeded with the deal, despite the fact that the left-sided attacker was not his main target.
