As Tottenham prepare to come back to Premier League action, Jose Mourinho has been warned not to hazard Harry Kane’s wellness.

On New Year’s Day, after experiencing medical procedure on a torn hamstring sustained in the defeat to Southampton, Kane has been sidelined since January.

The coronavirus pandemic has constrained a temporary suspension of the Premier League season which has allowed Kane to recoup without missing the remainder of the season.

On June 19, Tottenham will start their campaign with a vital game against Manchester United, a game that many expect Kane to start in the table with north London right now eighth.

However previous goalkeeper Paul Robinson has called for caution on whether Kane will start each game as clubs face a clogged rundown of fixtures.

“You have to think about whether Harry Kane will play a few games seven days on the off chance that he can play an hour and a half on a Saturday and, at that point wait again for another hour and a half of play on the following Saturday. It’ll be all about how Jose (Mourinho) handles the situation because you can’t expect a player who after that time span has been out to have the option to return and play three games seven days with all the demands that Premier League puts on you,” Paul Robinson told Sky Sports News solely.
