George Weah, a former Milan striker, says that the favorite to win the Serie A title is Juventus and insists that Cristiano Ronaldo is not the best player in the world.

The Rossoneri legend shared his thoughts about the Serie A title race in an interview with La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

“In Milan, a new, brilliant path has started. The culture of victory is part of the Rossoneri’s DNA,” the former striker said.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are both scoring. Ibra is strong and optimistic, but something is behind this. Milan signed him because for young players he can be very helpful. He is an example and an inspiration for them.

“He’s still concentrated and he gives it all to his passion. If you’re working hard and you’re not losing your zeal, then age is just a number. Think of Pietro Vierchowood, Franco Baresi, or Paolo Maldini, all of whom played at a high level until they were nearly 40 years old.

Ronaldo is also a testament to how it can deliver unexpected outcomes by mixing hard work and passion. He’s not the best in the world, but he’s learned so hard to be the best. I am a Ronaldo fan because he has remained humble and received everything he has accomplished. He was struggling to get to where he is now.”
