The Brazilian has conceded variety of things which meant that he did not make an honest first impression at Old Trafford Manchester United midfielder Fred has admitted that his first season at the club was “awful” as he tried to settle into Premier League life.

Manchester United midfielder Fred lifted the curtain with the Red Devils during his “wanty first season.”
In 2018 Brazil International arrived in Old Trafford during a big-money move from Shakhtar Donetsk but was struggling to land within the Premier League.

Nevertheless, under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Fred has established himself as a key player for this term, and therefore the 27-year-old has taken the time to seem back on his maiden campaign.

“I think it had been a really tough first season on behalf of me,” the midfielder said in quotes attributed to the Evening Standard. “There was the settling process here, but also other personal things that were happening in my life, including my son’s birth.” So I think it had been a mixture of things that made me have a nasty first season. I’m certainly settled immediately in every way.”

“I enjoyed some good results and therefore the opportunity to play an incredible series of games. This was also helpful. I’m pleased with this season. I’m playing well now and hopefully I can maintain the momentum when the league comes back. I just want to offer the club my best, trying to be a key a part of the squad.

“I want to play the league, and hopefully everything will go that way. Hopefully we will beat this virus and each family will return to normal life. I mean, it’ll never be an equivalent ‘normal’ as before, but hopefully we’ll resume somehow from the purpose where we stopped,” Fred added.

Fred played 39 times within the 2019-20 season for the Red Devils, including twice against Club Brugge within the Europa League.
