Nevertheless, under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Fred has established himself as a key player for this term, and therefore the 27-year-old has taken the time to seem back on his maiden campaign.

“I think it had been a really tough first season on behalf of me,” the midfielder said in quotes attributed to the Evening Standard. “There was the settling process here, but also other personal things that were happening in my life, including my son’s birth.” So I think it had been a mixture of things that made me have a nasty first season.
