In one of the unsurprising football scores of the weekend in the Premier League, Tottenham beat Watford 2-1 at White Hart Lane. Both sides lacked the attacking threat in the first half. Heung min Son gave the visitors the lead when his freekick missed everyone and landed in the back of the net. Spurs did not look solid at the back with Juraj Kucka and Ismalia Sarr coming close for the visitors. Dele Alli also missed an easy chance before Harry Kane missed an easy chance for his quality.

Managers Reaction
Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo: “There’s no perfection, we’re still trying to improve. Today we did a good game in terms of consistency, and organization. We have to be more clinical we had enough chances to make a different score, but the boys worked very hard. The dynamic of the team is good.”
Watford head coach Xisco Munoz: “I think we played a very good performance, but we know if you want to get a result here you have to be perfect. The players understood what we wanted today, it was good, we are going in the right direction.” he added. “I don’t think [about the goal], I prefer to think about the positive things. We had control in lots of aspects of the game. Today was very hard with the mentality and physically, so it was a very good performance from my players.”
