Ferguson flies with Man Utd for Europa League final

Alex Ferguson, the former Manchester United coach, has accompanied the team to the Europa League final against Villarreal.

The game will be held in Gdansk, Poland, on May 26.

The club’s official Twitter said, “Something extraordinary is joining our away team.”

From 1986 to 2013, Ferguson was the club’s manager. He lifted the Premier League 13 times, the FA Cup five times, and the Champions League twice (1999, 2008).
