Fabio Capello: “Only Ronaldo and Chiesa can make a difference in this squad”

Fabio Capello, a former Juventus, and Real Madrid boss have spoken out about Andrea Pirlo’s success in charge of the Italian club.

Is Pirlo making Juventus better than it was under Sarri and Allegri?

Since they now have a lower-quality midfield, I believe the team has become weaker. They’re missing something in this area of the field right now. I’m talking to Bentancourt and Rabiot, two central midfielders.

The only difference in the Juventus squad now is Chiesa, who had trouble adapting after the move for a month and a half or two, with an appreciation of where he came from. But then he demonstrated his true talent.

Only Chiesa and Ronaldo differentiate themselves from the rest of the Juve team. Others, on the other hand, do not. There is no one to throw the ball forward; Dybala does it every time. He is the player who makes runs, dribbles, and passes the ball.

When it came to working with the ball, this team lacked pace. They played rugby against Porto, literally throwing the ball to the flanks. Even though Ronaldo had a poor result, perhaps his worst since joining Juventus, they attempted to play vertically.

Capello told Sky Sports that “no one was watching Ronaldo’s gestures and giving him a pass.”
