With Borussia Dortmund in charge, Edin Terzic won his first Champions League match and received Erling Haaland’s praise.
Erling Haaland credited Edin Terzic after scoring twice in a 3-2 comeback victory over Seville in the Champions League, claiming he was “talking a lot” with the interim Borussia Dortmund coach.
Terzic, who has experienced a tough spell since taking over in December, enjoyed the enhanced success of his players as they canceled the early strike of Suso with a Mahmoud Dahoud goal before a Haaland brace gave his side a half-time lead of 3-1.
“I felt like, I don’t know if you can say it’s down to motivation or passion or whatever, but we were more online today,” Haaland told DAZN, whose side came to Seville after winning only one of their previous six LaLiga matches.
“It wasn’t good to let two goals go, but it’s good to score and take them with us with three away goals. We had a pretty good idea. Edin was good and I talked a lot with him. He said it was going to be my game today and I was going to get my chances and I did, so it was an important win.”
