Denmark Player Ratings

England beat Denmark in the second semifinal of Euro 2020 with Harry Kane scoring the winner in extra-time. Find the Denmark player ratings below

Kasper Schmeichel – 8

He was the one player from Denmark that deserved to be on the winning team. Saved Kane’s penalty but was unfortunate to see the ball land at the forward’s feet.

Jannik Vestergaard – 8

Had a good game at the center of the defense and kept England forwards at bay for the majority of the game.

Simon Kjaer – 7

He had a nervous start to the game and was unfortunate with his own goal. Picked up a bump to his head from a collision with Maguire.

Andreas Christensen – 7

He was up against Sterling much like the Champions League final. He was hesitant to get too tight to the manchester city winger throughout the game.

Joakim Maehle – 5

Maehle has been one of the players of the tournament for Denmark at euro 2020 but could not find any rhythm tonight. He earned the lowest of the Denmark player ratings.

Thomas Delaney – 6

He marshaled Phillips in the center of midfield and was tidy in possession. He ran his socks off and was subbed shortly before the 90 minutes.

Jens Stryger Larsen – 6

He was very composed on the ball and had an enthralling contest with Sterling whenever faced with the winger.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – 8

He was in the heart of the midfield and thwarted mount throughout the game. One of the standout performers for Denmark.

Kasper Dolberg – 6

He seemed lively after scoring three goals in his last two games but could not add to his tally for the tournament.

Mikkel Damsgaard – 8

Arguably the best player on the pitch for Denmark. He scored the first direct freekick goal of the tournament.

Martin Braithwaite – 7

Braithwaite was isolated for most of the game but did drop deep to pick up the ball.
