Diego Costa, a former Atletico Madrid forward, may continue his career in the Portuguese league, according to Goal.

Benfica is interested in signing him. The Portuguese club is looking to bolster their attack and is willing to give the Spanish-Brazilian forward a two-year deal worth €3 million per year.

Furthermore, Benfica is willing to pay him about €3 million as a signing bonus, which appeals to the former Atletico Madrid player due to the club’s rich history and trophy-hunting ambitions.

Costa, 32, agreed to end his deal with Atletico Madrid in December to join a new club.
