David Moyes says he wants to construct new history at West Ham however realizes first he should keep them in the Premier League.

The club celebrated its 125-year anniversary on Monday yet the landmark season has the ghost of relegation approaching over it, as the Hammers head into their home clash with Chelsea on Wednesday night outside the drop zone just on goal distinction.

Moyes drove West Ham to Premier League survival two years ago and the Scot, clearly enlivened by the club’s history and traditions, is eager to repeat the feat following his arrival to the London Stadium in December.

The 57-year-old is energized by his plans for the future and accepts he can compose another chapter in the Hammers’ history, on the off chance that he is allowed the chance to do as such.

“West Ham has a fantastic history yet what we want is a new history and I want the chance to manufacture new history, make new history, create something which gives us a sentiment of trust later on. The enormous thing first however is to win our next four or five games and make sure we are a Premier League club. On the off chance that we do that, at that point we can start assembling new history and I want to be the person to do it. I have got a ton of ideas and contemplations about where I want to take the club on the off chance that I can do it yet I have to make reference to there have been some unbelievable managers and players at this club who are perceived worldwide. Should I find the opportunity, I want to take this club forward, improve the club, improve personally. In any case, we can’t make that history at this time, we have got loads and loads of activities yet,” said Moyes.
