Oliver Kahn confirms that David Alaba is finding an exit from Bayern Munich, with the 28-year-old linked to Inter and Juventus. Alaba will see his contract expire next June and the iconic German goalkeeper, who is now a member of the Board of Directors of Bayern Munich, has indicated that it is unlikely that he will sign a contract extension with the club.
Inter, Juventus, and Real Madrid are linked with securing the services of the player, and the Merengues tend to be ahead of the giants of Serie A.
Kahn told Bild, “I don’t know what’s going on with his contract extension. We gave a very beneficial extension of the deal, and he just had to sign it. David and his agent, Pini Zahavi, however, didn’t want to pursue that path. They’re looking for a new club, apparently, and we have to accept it.”
Alaba is a product of the academies of Austria Wien and Bayern Munich. In 2018, when he was just 17, he joined the Bavarians. In 404 games with Bayern Munich, he has 32 goals.
