After supposedly violating coronavirus protocols, Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez may be in trouble.
According to widespread rumors, the Juventus star whisked Georgina into another area of Italy for a birthday getaway and stayed in an officially closed hotel.
Since visiting the orange zone of Courmayeur earlier this week, he is facing a possible fine.
Amid the global pandemic, traveling between cities in Italy is banned.
Italian rules state: ‘It is prohibited to travel through regions in Italy until 15 February, unless it is for work, health or utter necessity.’
Allegedly, the pair is still under criminal investigation but has not been fined for their trip to the luxury ski resort yet.
On Tuesday, at the five-star Le Massif hotel, Georgina celebrated her 27th birthday.
Before the snowmobile trip across the Alps, Ronaldo had dinner with his partner.
Before swiftly deleting it, she shared a video of their romantic trip on social media.

Since then, Ronaldo and Georgina have returned to Turin with more news saying that on Thursday, Italian police visited the hotel and found it locked.
On Wednesday, Juventus were in action as they defeated Spal 4-0 in the Coppa Italia, but manager Andrea Pirlo gave Ronaldo a rest.
But on Saturday, he is scheduled to return to action as his side travels to Sampdoria.
