Chelsea sign Saul Niguez on loan from Atletico Madrid

Chelsea Saul Niguez

Chelsea has completed the loan signing of Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid for the season. the Spanish midfielder will join Chelsea for a fee of £3.4m with the option to buy the player next season for £30m. He has made more than 300 appearances for the Spanish side after he first joined the Spanish side at the age of 17.

“I am very excited to start this new challenge with Chelsea.” Saul Niguez said after completing a loan move to Chelsea. “Blues fans; I am one of you now and I can’t wait to wear the shirt, start training and see all of you. See you soon!”

“We welcome Saul to the club and believe he completes our squad as we compete for honors in five different competitions this season.” Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia said. “He is a proven winner, a player with huge experience and we know he will be very well-suited to the challenges that face us on all fronts in the coming year.”

Meanwhile, Everton has confirmed the signing of Salomon Rondon from the Chinese League. He has signed a two-year contract with the option of signing for a third season.

“I’m really glad to be back in the Premier League,” Rondon said. “It’s a competition I enjoyed playing in and where I felt the fans’ support in every game. Defending the colors of a club with a history as rich as Everton’s fills me with pride. I can’t wait to pull on the shirt and be reunited with Rafa Benítez, a coach who has changed the way I understand the game. I’m really grateful for the faith he’s shown in me.”
