Chelsea hopes to sign Man City’s top scorer and one of their midfield priorities this summer…

Manchester City seems to be content with the possibility of losing their all-time leading scorer in the season. The Premier League’s undisputed champions are yet to hold contract negotiations with Sergio Aguero, and they expect to send the Argentina striker packing with four more medals.

But they probably didn’t want Aguero to unpack them too close to home. Previously, it was assumed that the 32-year-old will move to Italy or Spain, but according to the Daily Mail, Aguero wants to remain in the Premier League even though City does not want him.

Chelsea, on the other hand, is keeping a close eye on Aguero’s case, much like Barcelona, who seemed to be the center-most forward’s possible destination up until now. PSG has shown an interest as well.

Chelsea also plans to confuse matters for City in their search of Mahmoud Dahoud…

The Germany midfielder’s deal is coming to an end, and Premier League clubs are lining up to sign him.

According to the Daily Mail, Thomas Tuchel, who was in charge at Dortmund when Dahoud joined in 2017, is keen on reuniting with the 25-year-old, though City has maintained their trust in him since his tenure at Borussia Monchengladbach.

Liverpool was still interested at the time, but other Premier League clubs were more so.

Liverpool was not concerned at the time, but Everton and Tottenham are also interested.
