Carlo Ancelotti claims Manchester City is the strongest team Everton has faced this season and they will not be stopped from winning the trophy.
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti congratulated Manchester City and declared them the champions-elect after the runaway Premier League leaders powered to a 3-1 victory at Goodison Park.
The city has won their last 12 league games, 17 in all competitions, and Ancelotti can’t see any team stopping Pep Guardiola’s high-flying side from winning a fifth Premier League trophy and a seventh national crown in England.
“I think so. It’s really difficult to say another name,” according to the Daily Mail, Ancelotti said.
Man City is in a good mood at the moment. They have great quality, they have confidence, they are powerful. We tried to put the game on the strong side but it was difficult against Rodrigo, against [Ruben] Dias, against [Aymeric] Laporte.”
