Brendan Rodgers will hold training meetings for Leicester at the King Power Stadium to get his players used to playing on an unfilled park.

The Premier League, which was halted by the coronavirus pandemic in March, is set to continue behind closed doors on 17 June.

Leicester is set to go the next end of the week to Bournemouth and Rodgers needs to offer the players each chance to adapt to the unusual condition created by the lack of fans.

“We are going to take a gander at attempting to prepare for that as best we can. When we play we will have some practice games in our stadium. We ‘re going to play at the King Power so they’re going to feel it and get a feeling of it. The game isn’t an identical one. Totally not. It just can’t be. This is what we have to do, however. However, we will have a cause we ‘re going to battle for. They may not be in the stadium with us however there will be millions watching, thousands of Leicester City fans watching around the world. We have an obligation for them to do as much as we can, regardless of whether the stadium is full or void, and that will be our center, “he said.

Lying third in the suspension, Leicester has four home league games leftover against Arsenal, Manchester United, Sheffield United, and Crystal Palace, while facilitating Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup at the finish of June are also liable. And Rodgers knows the shortage of help can be a leveler, with the Foxes having lost at home this season only three times in the league.

He added: “It certainly takes away the home advantage. Each team simply wants to play at home.”
