The Borussia Dortmund forward, especially in England, has a long list of admirers. Haaland is wanted by both Manchester clubs, but City likes its chances.

According to The Sun, Manchester City hopes to use its Jadon Sancho sell-on clause to defeat neighbors Manchester United to sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland. After his exploits for Dortmund, Haaland is a player in demand, linked to City, United, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, and Liverpool.

Following Sancho’s transfer to Dortmund in 2017, City has a 15 percent sell-on clause and they assume it could assist in their pursuit of Haaland, with the Premier League giants open to waiving or renegotiating the clause.

Ahead of the season 2020-21, Sancho was tipped to join United.
