AS Monaco is pleased to reveal that Club Bruges’ 21-year-old Krépin Diatta has signed a five-year deal.

An agreement was reached between the Principality Club and the current Belgian champion for the move of the young Senegalese international winger to AS Monaco by June 2025. Krépin Diatta (1.75m) joins Ligue 1 after having spent one season in the Norwegian elite, with Sarpsborg 08 (2017), and then three years in the Jupiler Pro League, being able to play on the entire right flank and even as a left-winger.

The Dakar native has already played over a hundred professional matches at only 21 years of age, scoring 28 goals and 19 assists.

Since then, Krépin Diatta, a Norwegian Cup finalist, has won two league titles and a Belgian Super Cup and has played 18 European matches, including 15 in the Champions League.

The new Monegasque star, already capped 16 times for the Senegalese national team, played in all of his country’s matches at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, which saw the Teranga Lions reach the final of the competition, at the end of which Krépin Diatta was named the tournament’s best young player.
