Arsenal Transfer News | Arteta promise Joe Willock bright future at Arsenal

Newcastle manager Steve Boss has made no secret of his intention to keep track of the 21-year-old, with outlets in the region saying a permanent contract is in the works.

“For sure because he’s got a deal and that’s going to be here,” Arteta said when asked if Willock will return to Arsenal next season. That is undeniable.

“I am ecstatic that things have gone so well because of his immense talent. I think it was wonderful for him to go abroad and get a new experience; He has taken advantage of the chance in a very good and remarkable manner. And he will return to us, where we will have a chat with him and prepare for his future years. He was given the task and the test of moving to Newcastle to assist them in getting where they want to go.

I met with the coaching staff there. And they are overjoyed that he played a vital role in helping them achieve their goals. That’s a huge plus for him.”

Willock thanked Newcastle supporters. He thanked them for their help after scoring his sixth goal in six games. Joe Willock scored 6th goal in Wednesday’s 1-0 victory over Sheffield United. He also acknowledged that there were talks to be held over his long-term future.

He expressed his gratitude by saying, “I want to thank you for making me feel so welcome and for greeting me with open arms. I hope you’re happy about what I’ve done so far with the club. And that there will be more to come in the future. I’m not going to make any promises. But the talk will take place.”
