Since June 2019, France has experienced its first defeat at Finland’s side, but Antoine Griezmann thought it should have been a different story.

Ahead of Saturday’s clash with Portugal, Antoine Griezmann said France would profit from their 2-0 shock loss to Finland.

France’s 24 attempts at goal were their most without scoring since firing a blank against Luxembourg in September 2017, and Griezmann warned they would be more brutal.

He said to M6, “We had two or three openings with Marcus. It’s another game if he brings them in. We have to look at what we’ve done wrong and look on Saturday.”
