Andrea Pirlo, Juventus’ head coach, discussed his plans for the second leg of the Champions League’s 1/8 final against Porto (1:2 in the first game).

“We are well aware of the weight on our shoulders, but we do not try to avoid it.” We have everything we need, but we will not take our adversary lightly.

Porto is a fine, strong squad, but we are Juventus, and we must focus on progressing to the next round.

We can’t possibly be incorrect tomorrow. You must behave as energetically and intently as possible in the game.

Chiellini trained with the generals, is in good shape, and I expect him to be available tomorrow. De Ligt just warmed up with the team before working on his own.

Arthur isn’t quite ready yet, but he’ll be able to start the game in the starting lineup. We’re hoping he’ll be able to play as much as he needs to.

Bernardeschi is in good shape and could start the game right away, but the decision will be made tomorrow. McKenney is doing well, but he has a long-standing problem. We strive to handle his time as efficiently as possible because he won’t be able to spend the full 90 minutes.

Morata has made a significant contribution and is a forward with a lot of potentials. “For a striker of such a high level, he looks for his approach to each team, likes to “scan” the opponents, and this is cool,” Pirlo said.
