Atalanta captain Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gomez has released a graphic novel about his life and career for youngsters.

He revealed the initiative via his Instagram Stories and will be available for purchase in both physical and digital structures.

From June 16, ‘Ciao, child il Papu’ (Hello, I am Papu) will be distributed by Rizzoli and a few stores in Bergamo will sell select autographed adaptations.

“Quite a long time ago a young man was living in a far-off nation, Argentina, and he had a dream: to turn into a player in football. This is my story, simply come play with me.”
