After news emerged linking Inter Milan full-back Achraf Hakimi to a move to Arsenal, his agent maintained that his client is “happy” in Italy.
With Hector Bellerin set to leave the Emirates this summer, Arsenal is expected to sign a new right-back ahead of the 2021-22 season.
Hakimi, who is thought to be worth £40 million, has been linked with a move to Mikel Arteta’s side ahead of the upcoming transfer window, but the 22-year-old agent has quickly denied those claims.
Alejandro Camano, an agent, told Radio Kiss Kiss: “Hakimi is content at Inter, where he works with [Antonio] Conte, an outstanding mentor. Conte’s style of play suits Achraf, and I believe he will benefit tremendously from his time with the Nerazzurri.”
