Poland’s prime minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, announced that the Ekstraklasa would be welcoming fans back to games stadiums at a maximum rate of 25 percent from 19 June. The top game in Poland is set to return this weekend. Morawiecki reported at a press conference on Friday that the supporters would be able to return in a limited capacity next month.

“We all like football and sports. This is the principal element of our return to modern life. That’s why we are offering football fans the chance to take part in the stadium activities, obviously only after appropriate safety measures have been secured. There will be declared with simple laws shortly. “said Morawiecki.

The number of fans permitted in stadiums will vary depending on the size of the stadiums, but a limit of 25 percent will be enforced.

“We are very happy that a lot of hard work by people has been appreciated in past weeks and we can restart the league today. All participants were tested for Covid-19, and their findings were negative,” Ekstraklasa chairman Marcin Animucki said.

“We are set for the comeback. The fans who’ll go to the stadiums should be free. This would be an excellent moment for the development of Polish football in Europe. Only live matches from the stadiums are everything we need now. We can give two matches every weekend to TV broadcasters in other foreign territories,” Animucki told the AP earlier this month.
