Current attacker Inter and Barcelona, Luis Suarez, recommends that Lautaro Martinez will stay with the Serie A giant.
Barca is allegedly chasing Martinez, 22, after scoring 16 goals in 31 games this season for Inter.
During his playing career the 1960 Ballon d’Or champ, Suarez went the other way, leaving Barca for Inter in 1961.
The previous Spain international said he would remain at San Siro in the event that he was in the place of Martinez. It is hard to conclude whether to stay or not except if Messi called him. He added that he was talking about a kid who is still youthful and has a lot of time to choose and face the challenges of things to come.
On Wednesday, Saurez told La Gazzetta Dello Sports that, “In the event that I was him I wouldn’t be changing teams. It’s complicated to conclude whether to stay or not, regardless of whether [Lionel] Messi called him then it is easy to consider it. We ‘re talking about a kid, however, who’s still youthful, and he has all the time in the world to get into different challenges later on.”
Martinez was able to meet Messi in Barcelona, with the pair going after Argentina one next to the other. However, if he somehow happened to leave Inter, Suarez reminded Martinez exactly where he should stand.
Saurez revealed that Martinez has less popularity in Spain than in Inter and advised Lautaro to stay where he is.
He finished his conversation by saying: “I want to offer some advice to [Lautaro]-stay where you are.”
