Chelsea has confirmed that Marina Granovskaia will leave her role as director at the end of the transfer window. Todd Boehly has been named chairman and the interim sporting director. She was come to be known as one of the toughest negotiators in world football and is set to assist Boehly during the transfer window. He is set to take up the interim role until a permanent replacement is found.
“We thank Marina for her many years of excellent service to the club and wish her all the best in her future ventures,” Todd Boehly said in a statement after Chelsea confirmed that Marina Granovskaia will leave the club. “Bruce has led Chelsea Football Club to the highest levels of international and domestic football, while also developing one of the most active social responsibility projects in sport. We thank Bruce for his service and his commitment to the club.”
