Coronavirus – A threat to Premier League players

Danny Rose revealed that, during the coronavirus pandemic, footballers in the Premier League are being treated as “lab rats.”

In a meeting with the Lockdown Strategies podcast, facilitated by the previous Scottish striker Kris Boyd and West Ham midfielder Robert Snodgrass, England international Rose made his analogy.

“To return to football I am passing on. I realize individuals are experiencing this coronavirus pandemic much more awful than me, yet I would prefer not to moan about anything here, ” said Rose.

Six individuals, spread across three Premier League clubs, were revealed on Tuesday to have tried positive for coronavirus and would go into self-isolation.

Rose has read up on the ‘Restart Project’ plans in June, amid attempts to get English football fully operational.

The left-back, 29, goes through the second half of the season on loan from Tottenham at Newcastle United.

He revealed that he had been called by Magpies manager Steve Bruce after utilizing gruff words while focusing on the morale of the nation was not his need in the talks of hurrying back to raise spirits.
